Spiritual Directors
Lisa Taylor Keuhlen has a certificate in Spiritual Direction and Directed Retreats and a master’s degree in Christian Spirituality from Creighton University. Currently, she is a Ph.D. candidate studying Christian Spirituality at the Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio TX. Lisa spent six years in foundational development at El Tesoro Retreat Center in Woodland Park, Colorado ensuring an ecumenical Catholic presence as directed by the founder. She has authored and published three books of historical fiction: Footsteps in a New World: The Story of Tomas Sympson, Deliverance from Evil, and Beyond Deliverance. Married for over 40 years, she is a retired Navy wife, mother of four sons, and grandmother to four boys and two girls. In addition to spiritual direction in the contemplative approach, she offers supervision for spiritual directors and program practicums, facilitates retreats, and offers the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. In collaboration with Sr. Maureen Conroy, RSM, she has three soon-to-be-published handbooks for the training and practice of spiritual directors in the Ignatian tradition. Lisa is a member of Spiritual Directors International, Spiritual Direction Colorado, the Society for the Study of Christian Spirituality, the International Network for the Study of Spirituality, American Academy of Religion, and the College Theology Society.
Alice French offers discernment including Ignatian Spirituality to those seeking God in their lives. Alice is a graduate of the Cenacle School of Spiritual Direction at Our Lady of Divine Providence in Clearwater, Florida. Alice majored in Liberal Arts at Kean University in Union, New Jersey. She advised teachers and clergy on products available from Resources for Christian Living (RCL), a leading Catholic publisher of Christian Classics, Thomas More, and catechetical curriculum. She held a license for 20 years as a Colorado real estate broker serving customers in El Paso and Teller counties. Alice has been inspired through decades of spiritual direction, retreats, and studies as well as pilgrimages to Sacred sites in Europe and the Holy Land. She has nurtured other directors and individuals in their spiritual development through facilitation of spiritual book clubs and guidance in the contemplative life. Alice has served as a jail minister for the past 7 years providing spiritual counseling to women inmates. Married for 43 years, mother of three grown children and seven grandchildren, Alice enjoys her home in Florida during winters and Colorado in summer. She and her husband enjoy nature including hiking, fishing, and boating. In addition to individual and group spiritual direction, she is available to lead retreats, provide Unbound Ministry and offer the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius.
Susan Delaney began her teaching career with a dual B.A. degree in Theology and Education. Retired from teaching in Catholic high school, she continues to share her gift at the parish and diocesan levels with workshops and retreats. Susan has a master’s degree in Christian Spirituality and a certificate in Spiritual Direction and Directed Retreats from Creighton University. She also has certificates in Stress Management and Mindfulness. In 2025, she will be teaching the practicum in spiritual direction at Creighton’s Christian Spirituality Program. For spiritual direction, she welcomes individuals of all ages and those of all religious backgrounds and spiritual paths, including those who are spiritual but not religious. Susan is mother to twin sons and a new grandmother. She is an avid skier and is fluent in German.
